Inter Miami presented Lionel Messi in front of thousands of fans

Last Sunday evening, the Inter Miami football team unveiled Lionel Messi to the audience of spectators at the DRV PNK Stadium.

More than 20,000 people showed up to greet the 36-year-old Argentine Messi, most of whom were sporting his number 10 jersey.

Messi addressed the crowd in Spanish during his statement of gratitude after his nation's World Cup victory in Qatar the previous year.

After his contract with PSG of France expired at the end of this autumn, 36-year-old Messi, who has won the Ballon d'Or player award seven times, decided to return to Inter Miami to play in the MLS competition.
