NCAA has warned Nigerian airlines against fuel pollution

The National Aviation Agency (NCAA) in Nigeria has cautioned the nation's airlines against contaminating the fuel they use, endangering the lives of travellers.

The NCAA issued its warning in response to the MAX Air fiasco, which revealed that a Boeing 737 aeroplane that the business was refuelling to improve fuel efficiency included a significant amount of water.

A team of investigators has been assembled by the agency to keep an eye on the operation of oil planes at the airports in Abuja, Lagos, and Kano. The agency has previously suspended all of the MAX Air company's operations in some regions of Nigeria.

The NCAA has threatened to take stern measures against any corporation discovered to be participating in similar conduct in a warning letter it delivered to Nigerian airlines.
