Israel bombarded the Palestinians from above and below

The West Bank has been the target of a severe air and ground assault by Israel that has already claimed the lives of eight Palestinians.

Israel characterised the attack as an effort to get rid of the local militants. A local who lives in the region where the attacks are occurring described the situation to Radio France International as follows:

Simply put, it is the powerful oppressing the powerless. What else can I tell you? There will never be peace; in fact, I find it astonishing how quickly the Jews make decisions. How could someone who wants peace possibly do something like that?

The resident further stated that the Jews had destroyed everything for them, breaking into at least 200 armoured cars in addition to using up to 8 trucks to demolish whatever they had discovered.

Israel, however, vowed that these attacks would continue until Jenin was liberated from the terrorists who were hiding there.
