More than 1,500 Nigerians have sought to make history since Hilda - the Guinness Book of World Records
Since Hilda Bachi began her long career as a chef, Nigerians have submitted 1,572 requests to Guinness World Records, according to Editor-in-Chief Craig Glenday, who spoke with the BBC.
Before attempting to establish the record, Mr. Glenday also suggested that users sign up with the directory and abide by its terms and conditions.
The Guinness Book also urged Africans to make history like Hilda Bachi.
Since the creation of Hilda's history, several individuals from the African continent have attempted to create history in a variety of subjects.
A person desired a dragon and other items in an effort to make history, and another person tried to break the record for the longest cry.
"I like to see people trying to make history," Mr. Glenday added.
Because it is a positive thing, "we really want to see African people making history."
Additionally, he stated that the Guinness Book of Records wanted to be notified prior to any attempt to break the record so that he may measure the record by adhering to the book's guidelines.
According to Mr. Glenday, the archive rejects 95% of the history that was attempted since it did not adhere to the archive's guidelines.
