Muslim countries are meeting in Saudi Arabia to take action against the burning of the Qur'an in Sweden

The OIC is conducting an urgent conference in the Saudi Arabian city of Jeddah to consider the coordinated response to Wednesday's burning of the Holy Qur'an in Sweden.

The meeting, which Saudi Arabia organised, will examine the acceptable responses to what the group has referred to as "the reprehensible" incident.

The organisation has already denounced what the young man of Iraqi descent, who is fleeing in Sweden, did on Eid al-Fitr in front of Stockholm's largest mosque.

The majority of Muslim nations have invited their ambassadors to Sweden to express their sorrow and to express their outrage.
