Romania expelled Russian diplomats

Today, Saturday, 40 representatives of the Russian diplomatic mission plan to go from Bucharest, Romania after being invited to do so by the host nation.

The action, according to Romanian authorities, was made in opposition to Russia's military incursion in Ukraine.

According to the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, 29 employees and 11 officials will board a passenger plane to depart with their families.

They were given a deadline of one month to leave the country starting on June 8th.

The diplomats were expelled from Romania for espionage, just like many other European nations.
