Atiku Abubakar, a former vice president, condemned the federal government for disregarded the European Union's assessment on the general election of 2023.
If memory serves, Barry Andrews, the chief monitoring officer of the European Union, asserted that the election's flaws had gravely eroded public confidence in INEC, the National Electoral Commission.
The federal administration, however, disputed the report in a statement issued this weekend.
The former vice president's communications assistant, Phrank Shaibu, responded to the statements made by the federal government by claiming that the electoral commission did not carry out its responsibilities during the election as the EU has charged.
