The Chairman of Nasarawa Local Government has been suspended
Hon. Auwalu lawan Shu'aibu, the chairman of the Nasarawa Local Government, has been removed from office unless he takes appropriate action.
According to SolaceBase, a letter signed by 11 local government councillors contains the news of the suspension of the leader of the Nasarwa local government.
The council members asked the local chairman to appoint his deputy Mu'azu Abubakar Adamu to lead the local government while the probe is ongoing.
They charged him with breaking the rules governing the administration of the municipality, spending money while out of office, and other offences.
