Tinubu Meets Former Chairman of APC Party
At the presidential palace in Villa Abuja, President Bola Tinubu met with Abdullahi Adamu, the former national chairman of the APC, and Iyiola Omisore, the former secretary of the party, both of whom had resigned from their positions.
The two men travelled to the presidential palace together, and after their 1:30 p.m. meeting, they were seen to be in a calm state. They did not interact with the media.
0According to sources, the two men's visit is unrelated to the party's internal strife, which forced them to resign from their roles last week.
Additionally, on Monday of last week, just after the party management committee meeting ended, Senator Abubakar Kyari, the party's vice chairman in charge of the Northern zone, was named the party's acting chairman.
