The court dismissed the case filed by the EFCC against Okorocha

The Federal High Court in Abuja has dismissed the EFCC's lawsuit accusing Senator Rochas Okorocha, the former governor of Imo State, of money laundering.

The former governor is charged by the EFCC with fraud and abuse of power.

The accusation was, however, deemed to be in contempt of the judicial system by the court.

Justice Yusuf Halilu, the court's judge, stated that the EFCC brought a comparable case against the former governor at the Federal High Court, which rendered a decision clearing him in December of last year.
