The number of people who died in the building that collapsed in Cameroon has risen to 33

33 people have already perished as a result of a building collapse in Douala, Cameroon, including a three-year-old daughter.

According to the CRTV news agency, 54 additional people were hurt when a four-story structure in Douala's Ndogbong neighbourhood collapsed on individuals while they slept.

According to AFP, at least three of those hurt were youngsters.

According to Célestine Ketcha Courte, minister of housing and urban development, five of them are in critical condition.

She stated that they are being treated at the hospitals in Deido County and Laquintine.
