According to Akpabio, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration eliminated fuel subsidies to address the issue of corruption in the nation's fuel sector.
He asserted that removing the subsidies will force the administration to begin tackling corruption.
The removal of the fuel subsidy, according to Akpabio, will allow Nigeria to conduct business correctly in the years to come. He also stated that the issue of worker salaries will be addressed to ensure the safety and well-being of Nigerians.
