The goal of the trip to Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates is to increase financial aid from other nations and strengthen Turkey's faltering economy.

Mr. Erdogan aspires to seal further multibillion dollar agreements.

Oman and the United Arab Emirates have already provided Ankara with exchange deals worth roughly $20 billion.

Saudi Arabia made a $5 billion deposit in the Turkish central bank in March.
