The Vice President went to Italy and Russia

In order to represent President Bola Tinubu at two important international conferences, Vice President Kashim Shettima left Abuja for Italy and Russia.

The vice president will participate with other world leaders in an international meeting on food production development in Italy from today through Wednesday. From there, the vice president will travel to Russia to attend a summit between Russia and African nations that will take place from Wednesday, April 26, to Saturday, April 29, in the president's stead.

At the meeting, he will speak with businesspeople and officials about a variety of topics, including how to strengthen ties between Russia and other African nations.
