Tinubu Has His First Meeting With Security Chiefs
At the Government House in Abuja, President Bola Tinubu is holding a secret discussion with Nuhu Ribadu, the president's counselor on security issues, and senior security personnel.
After holding the Salah celebrations in Lagos the previous week, Tinubu returned to Abuja on Sunday, which was followed by the meeting on Monday.
Since President Tinubu approved the nomination of new security chiefs roughly two weeks ago, this is the first gathering of its type.
Those people were chosen on June 19, 2023.
The interim Inspector General of Police and the security chiefs are under the direction of Nuhu Ribadu, the president's advisor on security matters.
The Chiefs of Army Staff, Major General Christopher Musa, Major General Taoreed Lagbaja, Chief of Naval Staff, Rear Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla, Chief of Air Staff, Air Vice Marshal Hassan Abubakar, and Acting Inspector Police, Kayode Egbetokun, were present at the meeting.
