University of Oulu Masters Scholarships for International Students for 2021–2022 - Finland
University of Oulu Masters Scholarships Scholarships are offered to deserving international students at the University of Oulu in Finland. The tuition fee must be paid by students who are not nationals of an EU/EEA member state.
The Finland scholarships are intended for students enrolled in the two-year international master's programs at the University of Oulu. The full or partial cost of the international tuition fee is covered by the scholarship for one academic year.

University of Oulu's Masters Scholarship: Goals and Benefits
The scholarships will be awarded as a tuition fee waiver that will cover 50%, 75%, or 100% of the total tuition. As part of the admissions procedure, candidates can submit an application for the tuition scholarship. Scholarships from the University of Oulu do not include living expenses.
Qualification Standards for the University of Oulu Masters Scholarships
Candidates that fit the following criteria may apply for a University of Oulu IM Scholarship in 2021–2022.
1. Non-EU/EEA nationals who don't have a Finnish permanent residency permit.
2. Qualified to apply for a Master's program at the University of Oulu for the 2021–2022 academic year.
3. The candidate has a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in academics from an accredited institution of higher learning.
4. The applicant demonstrates a high level of language fluency in English. approved techniques for proving language competence.
The award is open to applicants who are in their final term or semester of study at the time of application. A conditional scholarship offer will be extended to applicants who earn a conditional offer of study placement for a Master's degree.
Date, Procedure, and Location of Interviews for the University of Oulu Masters Scholarship
Decisions about admissions and scholarships will be made concurrently. When an offer of admission to an international study program is confirmed, students who were successful in applying for an international scholarship will be informed. The University of Oulu Scholarship selection criteria are based on prior academic success and academic promise.
Application-Required Documents
1. Original or temporary (provisional) degree certificate with a copy of a bachelor's degree or higher
2. If the original Bachelor's degree certificate was not issued in English, Finnish, or Swedish, a translation was required. Advice for candidates who will graduate beyond the application deadline.
3. A translated copy of the transcript for a bachelor's degree or higher.

5. A duplicate of your passport or ID card. Finnish nationals are exempt from submitting a copy of their passport or ID card.
January 20, 2024, is the application deadline.
How to Apply
Are you qualified and interested? To apply, visit University of Oulu at www.oulu.fi.
1. Select your program from our list. On each page of this website's master's programs, there is a link to the Studyinfo online application system. The deadlines page on Studyinfo's website contains important information about the application system as well as a timeline for the application process.
2. Verify that you are eligible for the program for which you want to apply.
3. Gather the documents you'll need for your application and scan them before submitting an online form. Apply online and provide copies of your degree certificate and language exam results.
4. Use the Studyinfo online application system to submit your online application and all necessary application documents as attachments.
5. Your application will be processed, and in March, all qualified students will be notified of the selection outcomes. By April 30, 2021, at 15:00 p.m. (GMT+2), all applicants who obtain study offers must validate their academic credentials and submit them to the University of Oulu.

The International Scholarship does not have a separate application process. Applications for the International Scholarship must be submitted through the Studyinfo portal at the same time as applications for the chosen study option.
