Are you the founder of a young business creating solutions to modernize manufacturing and enhance environmentally friendly production?
Get your product or service in front of the Toyota Ventures team to accelerate your business and assist in making the factory of the future a reality sooner. In order to magnify people, increase productivity, and improve sustainability, we are looking to invest in innovative businesses who are developing solutions to enable smarter, more adaptable, connected factories.
If that describes your firm, Toyota Ventures' 2022 call for innovation offers the chance to receive up to $2 million in venture capital funding through our Frontier Fund or Climate Fund. We're also working together with Toyota's Manufacturing Project Innovation Center (MPIC) and Toyota Research Institute. Selected startups may even have the opportunity to work with Toyota on a proof-of-concept project.

The Purpose and Advantages of Toyota Ventures Grants
It's a chance to get your solution in front of our team knowing that we are actively looking to invest between $500K and $2M USD. Qualified businesses that apply for the call will receive priority screening.
Qualification Standards for Toyota Ventures Grants
We welcome software and/or hardware solutions in the following areas, which we are currently exploring:
1. 3D modeling
2. Machine learning and computer vision
3. Virtual reality
4. Manufacturing with additives
5. Robotics software and/or hardware (autonomous mobile robots, collaborative robots)
6. Ways to increase energy efficiency and lessen factories' carbon footprint
7. Technologies to improve battery production and electrification
Startups from all over the world that fit the following requirements are eligible for the call for innovation:*
7. Your business has raised less money than $10 million USD.
8. You have a functional prototype to show how your solution works.
9. Your business concept fills a market niche and offers clients value.
10. Data analytics and cybersecurity
