Reports from Zaria in Kaduna state of Nigeria say that four people lost their lives after a part of the roof of the Great Mosque of Zazzau Kingdom collapsed on Friday.
Information indicates that many others were injured in the accident that happened during the afternoon prayer at about four o'clock in the evening, according to the Emir of Zazzau, Malam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli.
King Bamalli, according to the Daily Trust newspaper, said that the kingdom has discovered a part that is torn in the roof of the Mosque building, and that it is intended to be repaired before this incident happens.
Bamalli also sent his condolences to the families of the victims of the accident.
The mosque of the Kingdom of Zazzau is an old building with a long history that has been changed.
