Chelsea took a young player from Santos
Chelsea have completed the signing of Brazilian forward David Washington from Santos for £17.2 million.
Washington, 18, signed a seven-year contract.
The player started playing in Gremio before moving to Santos in 2016.
The forward made 16 appearances for Santos in all competitions and scored two goals before moving to Stamford Bridge.
He is the second player from Santos to join Chelsea this summer following the arrival of 18-year-old winger Angelo last month.
Washingtoni is the ninth player bought by Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino in the summer transfer market.
