First Lady, Remi Tinubu Visits Buhari In Daura
The First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, on Thursday paid a courtesy call on former President Muhammadu Buhari at his Daura home in Katsina state.
The first lady who was accompanied by the vice president's wife Hajiya Nana Shettima said that they visited to see the former president and see how he treated his children.
The first lady, in a statement issued by her spokesperson, Busola Kukoyi, prayed to God to give Buhari good health and give him more days to support the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and forward and help Nigeria as a whole.
In his brief speech after the visit, the former president expressed his happiness, saying that his visit to see how he lives after stepping down from power, surprised him.
Others who accompanied the first lady included the wife of the Katsina state governor, Hajiya Dikko Radda, the wife of the Speaker of the Katsina State House of Assembly, Hajiya Nasir Daura and other women leaders of the APC in the state.
