France will ban students from wearing hijab and abaya in schools
The Ministry of Education in France has announced plans to start banning students from wearing the hijab in the country's schools.
Just when it was about to go back to schools in parts of France, the media reported the Minister of Education, Gabriel Attal, as saying that female students will be prohibited from wearing Abayas, which are mostly used by Muslims to cover their bodies.
According to the minister of French education, under the laws created since the 19th century, they do not allow the use of any form of religious or cultural expression in the country's schools.
The Ministry of Education has stated that the prohibition will apply to the use of Hijab or a small box that covers the head or large abaya dresses that cover the body of women.
