Google has announced plans to give 20,000 Nigerian women and youth training for skills in various digital technologies.

The decision is an attempt to support the government's intention to create one million jobs in the fields of modern digital technologies.

The American company also said that it will give one million dollars to the Nigerian.

This comes after talks with the director of Google in West Africa, Olumide Balogun, and the vice president of Nigeria, Kashim Shettima, in Abuja.

Kashim Shettima said the government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is ready to support the youth to showcase their skills for the development of this sector in the country.

In a speech that the President of the country presented to Nigerians two weeks ago, Bola Tinubu promised to create jobs for one million youths especially in the field of modern technologies.
