Kano State Government Expresses Concern Over Attempted Bribery In Election Appeals Court
The Kano state government has expressed its concern over the complaint made by the chairperson of the election hearing court of members of the parliament in Kano, Justice Flora Ngozi Azinge that there was an attempt to bribe the court.
If you can recall, Azinge expressed her anger at the attempt of a senior lawyer with SAN experience to bribe her.
However, she did not reveal the name of the attorney general.
Responding to the incident in a statement, the Kano State Commissioner for Information, Baba Dantiye said the government viewed the incident with great concern, blaming some powerful forces in the APC party.
He said that all of them are ready to use any means to get justice as it was done in the past.
The APC side has not yet responded to this allegation until the presentation of the report this morning.
