The Kano state government has set up a committee of 22 people to evaluate about 10 thousand 800 workers who were employed at the end of the term of the previous government by Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.
Kano State Government Secretary, Dr. Baffa Bichi, said that the committee will confirm whether the rules have been followed in hiring more than 10 thousand workers.
The committee will work under the leadership of the head of the recruitment commission, Alhaji Umar Shehu Minjibir, and the committee has been given three weeks to complete its work.
In his response, Minjibir promised that the members of the committee will do their best to see that they complete the work on time.
