Algeria has proposed the establishment of a transitional government for 6 months with a civilian leader to end the military coup in the Republic of Niger.
This is part of the country's attempt to avoid the use of military power that ECOWAS is planning to do to restore the civilian government.
Regarding this action, Bashir Ibrahim Idris discussed with the former Minister of Special Operations in Nigeria, Ambassador Ibrahim Kazaure.
