Man United have completed the transfer of Hojlund
Manchester United have completed the signing of Denmark forward Rasmus Hojlund from Atalanta for £72 million.
The 20-year-old, who joined the Serie A side in 2022 and scored 10 goals in 34 appearances last season, has joined Old Trafford on a five-year deal.
He is the third player that United coach Erik ten Hag took this summer after Mason Mount from Chelsea for 55 million pounds, then Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana came for 47.2 million pounds.
Ligue 1 champions Paris St-Germain are reportedly eyeing Hojlund as a replacement for Kylian Mbappe, whose future is uncertain.
Hojlund made his debut in Copenhagen, making his Danish Superliga debut aged 17 in 2020 before moving to Austrian side Sturm Graz two years later.
He spent just six months in the Austrian Bundesliga after joining Sturm in January 2022 but scored nine goals in 17 appearances.
