Nigerian troops killed Boko Haram in Borno
Nigerian troops have killed two Boko Haram fighters in Konduga Local Government Area of Borno State.
The spokesperson of the force, Brigadier-General Onyema Nwachukwu said that the forces ambushed the Boko Haram members on a road they used to pass.
Nwachukwu said that there was an exchange of fire between the fighters and the military forces, where later the soldiers succeeded in defeating them and killing two inside.
Also, the spokesman of the army said that the army recovered various types of weapons, nuts and money from the hands of the Boko Haram fighters.
The Chief of Army Staff of Nigeria, Lt. General Taoreed Lagbaja, commended the forces for their efforts in eradicating what he termed as illegals from the North East region and other parts of Nigeria.
