 President Kim Jong Un fired the country's top generals

President Kim Jong Un of North Korea dismissed the country's top generals and announced that it may start planning for war.

The North Korean media said that President Kim made the announcement during a meeting with the country's military.

He told them to manufacture more weapons, where he immediately fired the chief of staff of the presidential palace, Pak Su Il.

This comes as a response to a military exercise by South Korea and the United States that Mr. Kim has linked to military exercises or an attempt to invade his country.
