Russia has imposed sanctions on the ICC prosecutor and some British ministers
Russia has announced sanctions against the prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, who is seeking the arrest of President Vladimir Putin, and British ministers who have strongly criticized the Moscow government's attack on Ukraine.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the military support received from the city of London to Kyiv and the way in which it is being carried out against Russia, after almost a year and a half of fighting in Ukraine.
ICC judge Karim Khan, who is British, issued an arrest warrant for Putin in March on charges of illegally deporting children from Ukraine.
Russia, which is not a member of the ICC, insisted on the subpoena against Putin as a review.
About 54 people have been included in Russia's sanctions list against British citizens.
