The African Union (AU) has suspended the Republic of Niger from all other activities of the organization until the country returns to democratic governance.
The AU ordered the military in power to return the deposed President Mohamed Bazoum to power and return to their barracks.
The AU Peace Committee has supported the decision of the ECOWAS group to install a special force to take military action in case of peace.
The AU also called on all its members and foreign countries to avoid legitimizing the activities of Niger's army, and loudly called on non-African countries that they do not want any interference from them.
Last month, Niger's army overthrew the civilian government and continued to detain President Mohamed Bazoum.
