The building of the great Zazzau Mosque has collapsed on the mosque
At least four mosques lost their lives, while others were injured after the building of the main mosque, the gate of the Zazzau king's palace collapsed on them.
His Highness the Emir of Zazzau, Mallam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli confirmed the incident, saying that the incident happened to the mosques at the same time they were conducting afternoon prayers at about four o'clock in the evening.
The Emir stated that the crack in the wall of the mosque was noticed since yesterday, where it is planned to bring expert engineers to repair the fort, while this damage happened on Friday before the repair.
The King of Zazzau has already sent a message of condolence to the families of the deceased, and ordered the continuation of prayers outside the mosque before the renovation is completed.
The funeral prayer for the deceased will be held at about 8:30 pm at the palace of the king of Zazzau in Kaduna, Nigeria.
