A delegation of representatives of the ECOWAS or CEDEAO group arrived in the Western city to look into the possibility of renegotiating with the soldiers who overthrew the regime of President Mohamed Bazoum.
Reports from the Republic of Niger indicate that a delegation from the Economic Development Organization of West African Countries (ECOWAS) has arrived in Western City to discuss with the soldiers who overthrew the regime of President Mohamed Bazoum with the aim of ending the coup d'état through reconciliation.
This is coming a day after the top commanders of the Union Army concluded a two-day meeting to find a way forward and pressure the leaders of the coup to hand over power to the civilian government.
