The Electoral Court has finished hearing the case filed by Atiku against Tinubu

The Presidential Election Appeals Court sitting in Abuja based its decision on the complaint filed by Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the main opposition party of Nigeria, PDP, on the February 25 election.

Atiku is challenging Bola Tinubu's victory as president in the country's general election.

The respondents in Atiku Abubakar's lawsuit are the INEC Electoral Commission, Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the ruling APC party.

The court, after receiving the final written statements from each party, put its decision in abeyance, that is, put it on hold until a day when it will inform the parties involved in the case.

This means that only the verdict remains, the court will announce in this case that the leader of the opposition in Nigeria has filed.

On May 8, 2023, the court began to sit to hear complaints about the presidential election.
