The EU has supported INEC with tools to improve electoral processes in Nigeria
The Independent Electoral Commission in Nigeria, INEC, has received a gift of some equipment from the European Union, which will help improve the country's electoral process.
The Chairman of the Electoral Commission, Professor Mahmood Yakubu, said this while receiving the items in Abuja, the capital of the country.
Professor Yakubu said the new tools will help the country's electoral commission to improve its electoral process.
He added that there are many more products that the EU will give to his agency.
"These items will help the Election Commission to improve its operations in many areas," said the head of the commission.
