On Monday, the Senate appointed Dr. Mariya Mairiga Mahmud to replace Maryam Shetty as a minister from Kano state.
Dr. Mariya replaced the name of Maryam Shetty whose name was removed by President Tinubu last week.
Maryam Shetty arrived at the Senate waiting for her confirmation, suddenly she got the news that her name has been changed to a former education commissioner during Ganduje's administration in Kano, Mariya Mahmud.
