There was a protest against the cost of living in Kano
A group of other groups held a protest to show their displeasure over what they called the pressure and hardship of life that the citizens found themselves in.
The members of the groups that have spread on some streets of Kano, have joined the student group, where they are asking the government to ease the current situation of the cost of living.
The protestors, men and women, some of them carrying placards, complained about the hardships they said the withdrawal of fuel subsidy by the Tinubu government has put people in a difficult situation.
The groups include women's groups, students and human rights activists.
One of the protestors, Comrade Fatima Muhammad Umar, said that the main thing that upsets her is that women are the most involved in the cause of the hardships they are facing in Nigeria.
