Earthquake: There will be 3 days of mourning in Morocco after the death of more than 2000 people
The King of Morocco, Mohamed the Sixth, has declared 3 days of mourning across the country to sympathize with those affected by the strong earthquake that hit the country on Friday.
A statement from the Kingdom of Morocco said that the national flag will be lowered in all government buildings on the day of mourning.
The king of Morocco also ordered the formation of a committee of ministers to plan the reconstruction of the houses damaged by this earthquake of 6 points and 8 points.
More than 2 thousand people died, while more than 1 thousand were injured as a result of this earthquake that happened on Friday.
Those who died as a result of this earthquake are in different areas, including Al Haouz and Marrakesh, and the cities of Ouarzazate, Azilal, Chichaoua, and Taroudant, according to a statement from the Ministry of the Interior.
