The military government of the Republic of Niger has accused France of stockpiling weapons and deploying its forces in some countries that are neighboring their country in order to attack them.
On Saturday, the spokesman of Niger's military government, Colonel Major Amadou Abdramane, stated in a statement that France is continuing to deploy troops in a program it is doing with the ECOWAS group to attack the country, where he said that it has gathered warplanes, and helicopters, and 40 armored vehicles in Ivory Coast and the Republic of Benin.
The country in the Sahel region has been at loggerheads with the Economic Development Organization of West Africa, that is ECOWAS since the organization threatened to use force if diplomacy fails, in an effort to restore Mohamed Bazoum to power.
On the 3rd of August, the military government of Niger canceled the military agreement between it and France, which has about 1,500 troops in the country to help in the war against terrorism.
