Fight against Sikila disease (Bleeding disease) The wife of Zamfara state governor, Hajiya Huriya Dauda, led the first march against the disease, from the Ministry of Women to the palace of His Eminence Emir of Katsina Gusau, Alhaji Ibrahim Bello.

In the speech of Governor Dauda's wife, Hajiya Huriya, who was represented by the Commissioner of the Ministry of Women and Children, Hajiya Nafisa Muhamda Maradun, stated that they organized this march in collaboration with the office of the Governor's wife and the Ministry of Women and Children. children to make the community aware of how to fight against the disease and how it afflicts the community.

The representative of the governor's wife stated that now in the women's ministry there is a place where tests are done to diagnose the disease and to do free tests without paying.

In this rally, there is a financial support of ten thousand naira for those with the disease, which people will benefit from the mother of the state governor, Hajiya Huriya.

In his speech, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Women and Children, Dr. Habibu Yalwa, stated that this rally is the first ever held in Zamfara state, to prevent the spread of syphilis in this state and now a center has been opened in the women's ministry and the palace of His Highness the Emir of Katsina Gusau to do the tests to identify those who have the disease and have no treatment and advice on how to solve the problem.

His Highness the Emir of Katsina Gusau, Alhaji Ibrahim Bello, in his speech, stated that this awareness and advocacy should be done in the media so that the public can be well informed, and food support should be included because it will help those who are sick to get well because if I am sick and hungry there is nothing that can be found.
