The authorities of Libya have insisted on the time to start the rehabilitation of the city of Darna after last month's floods.

In a statement issued by the government of the north of the country, she said that delaying the start of the renovation is necessary considering how the committee that was appointed to review the map of the city and the type of building that should be done have failed to submit their findings.

Information has confirmed that the committee has set Wednesday and Thursday of next week as the day they will submit their report to the government.

According to Sabr Al-Jabani, the head of the committee, the damage caused by the flood is the reason why their research work has been difficult because some areas are still inaccessible.

In the past, the 10th of October, which we are currently in, has been set as the day to start laying the foundation for the rehabilitation of Darna city.

Before starting to set up the tournament, a meeting will be held by the government of the north of the country, which has invited international countries and authorities.

A date has not yet been set for the meeting or the start of the renovation project.
