APC Warns Kano Government Against Destroying New Kingdoms
The APC Kano state branch has warned the Kano state government against any attempt to destroy the new kingdoms of Kano created by the former governor of Kano state, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.
Last Tuesday, a group called the Kano State National League sent a letter to the Kano State House of Assembly, asking for the amendment of the Act on the establishment of new kingdoms in Kano state, the kingdoms include Gaya and Rano, Karaye and Bichi, and they also asked for the return of the former emir of Kano, Mohammadu Sanusi II.
However, in a statement issued by the press secretary of the APC in Kano state, Alhaji Ahmad Aruwa, he expressed his surprise that the group did not complain when the new emirates were created, where he said that emirates should be respected. .
