Tinubu Obliged to 'Take' the Pledge of Allegiance After Singing the National Anthem of Nigeria
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has ordered the mandatory singing of the national pledge after the Nigerian national anthem in all public and government gatherings.
This is a step to ensure full respect for the country and to strengthen obedience to the laws of the country and to protect the dignity of Nigeria and its pride.
Speaking at the inauguration of the Renewed Hope City housing complex in Karsana area of Abuja, on Thursday, the president emphasized the importance of respecting the values of the country and promoting national policies and obeying the established laws.
In a statement issued by his spokesperson Chief Ajuri Ngelale,
Tinubu said before he left home this morning (Thursday) he ordered the publication of the national pledge, and it must be revived from today's meeting (Thursday).
"We saw it on the field yesterday, we are happy, everyone wants to win, we want to win." said President Tinubu.
