 Gunmen attacked police stations in Zamfara

Gunmen attacked the police station in Zurmi local government in Zamfara state of Nigeria where they killed one policeman and six other people.

According to an eyewitness, the reason why the terrorists attacked Shelkwat was the killing of three bandits by the security forces.

An unnamed person said that until 9:45 on Saturday night he could not find the phone of his relatives in Zurmi, saying that this means the bandits did not leave the area early.

The police went into the forest with the police, where they attacked one of the bandits' camps and killed three of them and arrested one person.
