The Palestinians accused Israel of colonialism and the apartheid system
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Palestinian Territories, Riyad Al-Malki, told the International Court of Justice that his people are suffering from colonialism and the discrimination system of "apartheid" under the occupation of Israel.
The World Court is sitting for a week to hear the issue related to Israel's occupation of Palestine since 1967, where 52 countries are expected to testify.
Countries including the United States, Russia and China will address the judges in The Hague, the headquarters of the World Court.
In December last year, the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights asked the International Court of Justice to advise him on the impact of Israel's policies on the occupied Palestinian territories, including East Jerusalem.
Even if he attends the meeting, he will not use the recommendations of the World Court, this comes at the same time as the pressure is on the war in Gaza since the 7th of October.
In January, the International Court of Justice ruled that Israel must do everything possible to avoid genocide, leaving aid supplies in Gaza, but failed to order a ceasefire.
