Leaders in the Kufanan district of Kajurun local government, who were attacked by bandits, said that the burning of people and food warehouses is a serious threat to the people of Gindin Dutse Makyalin town.

The Kaduna state government has condemned the attack and ordered aid while the local chiefs say that after the loss of life, there was a loss of food, clothes and houses that were burnt by their bandits.

Early on Sunday morning, gunmen attacked the town of Gindin Dutse Makyali in Kufanan District in Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State, where they killed 12 people and burnt 17 houses including food pantries.

However, the chief of the area, that is Agwam Kufana, Chief Titus Dauda, said that the bandits did not have the opportunity to steal people due to the arrival of the army.

Before this attack, the bandits carried out some attacks in the local government areas of Igabi and Kaura, and the acting security commissioner of Kaduna state, Malam Samuel Aruwan, toured the areas and said that the government is taking some steps.

Kidnapping people for ransom is a well-known activity of the bandits, and seeing that this time people and property were burned, the retired security expert, Major Yahaya Shinko, said that the bandits have a purpose.

According to Major Shinko, the attack seems to be revenge or provocation.

In the past, there has been a slight increase in bandit attacks in some parts of Kaduna state, but the return of stone-throwing attacks has made some people think that the work of the volunteers and soldiers of the neighbors of Kaduna state was created. is seeking to turn back the clock in Kaduna state.
