Niger hosted the Iranian delegation
On Wednesday, the Prime Minister of Niger, Ali Mahaman Lamine Zeine received the Iranian delegation under the leadership of the Deputy Minister of Economic Affairs of Iran, Mehdi Safari at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The national TV channel Tele Sahel reported that the talks were about the implementation of agreements that will benefit both parties.
"We are ready to cooperate with Niger in the field of crude oil, oil refineries, stations and storage," said Safari.
Niger is reforming its foreign policy, where it has become closer to Russia after the conflict between it and France and its other Western allies over the coup on July 26, 2023.
