Nigeria's GDP growth slowest in 2023
Nigeria's domestic economic growth has been the least favorable compared to previous years, since the arrival of the corona epidemic, which has thrown the country's economy into a tailspin.
In a statement released by the Nigerian Bureau of Statistics, Nigeria's domestic economy has grown by 2.74 percent in 2023 against 3.10 percent in 2022.
Unemployment also increased by 4.2 percent to 5 percent when comparing the two years.
The NBS said that the agricultural sector grew by 2.10 percent from the 2.05 percent increase in the fourth quarter of 2022.
