Security forces have arrested more than 200 protesters over the death of Alexie Navalny in Russia
Security forces in Russia arrested 212 people who came out to protest, after the death of the country's opposition leader Alexie Navalny, who was suspected of having a hand in President Vladimir Putin's death.

This is the most recent arrest by the security forces in Russia since 2022, when 1,300 people were arrested when the country's citizens protested against the invasion of Ukraine.
