 South Africa asked the International Court to prohibit Israel from occupying the Gaza Strip

South Africa has asked the International Court of Justice (ICJ) to make a decision that must be implemented, in order to prohibit the occupation of Palestinian territories by Israel and the construction of houses for the occupied territories.

This is one of the requests submitted by the country during the one-week court session that began last Monday, regarding Israel's continued occupation of the Palestinian territories in Gaza.
