The NLC emphasized the plan to hold demonstrations despite the threat of DSS

The Nigerian Labor Union (NLC) has stated that "there is no running back" regarding the two-day protest it has planned to hold from the 27th to the 28th of this month of February across the country.

The leader of Comrade Joe Ajero said this in response to the warning given by the National Security Police "DSS" against the protest, as reported by the Daily Trust newspaper published in the country.

Earlier, the security agency of the secret police, warned the leadership of the trade union and its counterpart of the TUC to withdraw the protest they are planning to do because it is a threat to the security of the country.

However, in his response to the commission, NLC President Ajero said, "History will not forgive the trade unions, if they look at the pressure of life that the community is in and continue, which happened as a result of what he called and the "ruthless rule" of the Nigerian government and its minions.
